HeartCamp has ended

The schedule for HeartCamp is still in progress! But we're heartfully excited about the variety of topics and speakers from all walks of life. And remember, everyone who attends is a contributor to the dialogue.

Registration is required at Eventbrite to attend HeartCamp.  The deadline is January 25.

Please create a free account here at Sched.org; this will give you the ability to print your own custom program and to share as well as engage with other participants on social networks. There will be a limited number of printed programs at the registration table for reference only and all attendees will rely mainly on Sched's mobile apps for smartphones.

Dr. Sonjia Kenya

Dr. Sonjia (Sun-JIY-AH), professor of Family Medicine at the University of Miami, is obsessed with sensual satisfaction. She writes a popular sex column for the Miami Sun Post and conducts workshops to help people improve romantic relationships. She believes that strong sexual communication is essential to lasting love and her mission is to help people initiate sexual dialogue to foster satisfying intimate experiences.
Dr. Sonjia completed her bachelor’s degree at UCLA and earned two masters degrees along with her doctorate from Columbia University (where Dr. Ruth trained). Her writing has been published in newspapers, magazines, academic journals, and books and she has received international acclaim from the Journalists for Human Rights organization.
In 2010, Dr. Sonjia discussed sexual health strategies with President Obama’s AIDS czar and was recognized by the Miami Herald as one of Miami’s top 20 leaders under 40 years old. In 2011, Ford Motor Company honored her as a Freedom Sister of South Florida in 2011. Also a certified fitness instructor, Dr. Sonjia volunteers as an aerobics instructor for homeless women and conducts free sexual health workshops for youth living in Miami’s poorest communities.
